Hattiesburg native killed in Tulsa shooting spree

A Thursday night shooting spree in Tulsa, Oklahoma, killed a Hattiesburg native, two others, plus wounded two more in five separate shooting incidents.

About 8:30 Friday morning, Tulsa police were called to a funeral home where a man was found dead in the parking lot. According to local relatives, the victim was William Terrell Allen, 31 of Hattiesburg, who moved to Tulsa a year ago. Allen grew up on Tipton street and graduated from Hattiesburg high school. His body was the last of five to be discovered.

All five people were found shot within two miles of each other. One woman was found dead in the middle of the street. Two men were found minutes later, their injuries were not believed to be life threatening. An hour later, a fourth victim was found. Finally, police discovered Allen's body.

Investigators believe the victims were randomly targeted but shot by the same person.
