HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Thousands of people are expected to flock to downtown Hattiesburg Saturday for the 28th annual Hub Fest.

The event is co-sponsored by the Area Development Partnership and the Hattiesburg Zoo.

This years festivities will feature four live entertainment stages, a children's village at Town Square Park, and a fit area for older kids to play in. More than 230 vendors will be on hand selling their wares, the most to ever attend the festival.

The activities will take place from Buschman Street to Batson and from Mobile to Forest. With all those people going to the festival, finding parking could be a challenge.

"Parking is always difficult, but I recommend there are a few big parking lots around town," said Catherine Lott, Communications and Events Director, ADP. "There's the train Depot, The Hattiesburg Library, and Bank Corp South is just up from downtown. Come down make your way around the festival and see if you can find something there and if not it might be a little bit of a walk and you are going to want to wear your comfortable walking shoes anyway because you'll be walking around the festival."

Hub Fest opens at 9 a.m. and goes to 5 p.m.
