LAMAR COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

Students at several Oak Grove schools learned about eating right and exercising Friday from a Mississippi man who got a new start on healthy living on national TV. Patrick House, who won Season 10 of NBC's The Biggest Loser, spoke to kids about his new childhood obesity and anti-bullying program called, LEAN ON ME.

House lost more than 200 pounds on The Biggest Loser, dropping from pants size 60 to size 36.

"When I was a kid, if I could've had somebody come in and tell me all the things that I'm telling the students here in the LEAN ON ME program, maybe I wouldn't have had obesity chase me into my adulthood and eventually, lead to me being 425 pounds," House said.

"I learned that getting very fat is not very good," said Clayton Harvey, a 2nd grader at Oak Grove Lower Elementary School who attended one of House's presentations.

"(I learned) that eating healthy and working out is very fun," said Kalyric Coleman, another 2nd grader.

House has spoken to kids all over Mississippi and soon, he'll take his program to children in other states.
