SCRMC cuts down ER wait times

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

SCRMC is now offering a free online check-in and wait service called "Inquicker", that hospital officials say will make the ER administrative process - and likely the wait-time - quicker.

Inquicker is for patients with non-life-threatening illnesses.

Hospital ER Director Pam Nix said the process is fairly quick and simple.

Nix said patients can sign in for emergency care from their home computer to hold their spot in line at the hospital just as if they were their.
