PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

A Petal man who was out on bond for allegedly burglarizing three local businesses a few weeks ago has been arrested again on similar charges. Petal Police say Josua David Roth, 26, was taken into custody Thursday and charged with two counts of commercial burglary.

Officers say Roth allegedly tried to break into Carter's Jewelry and Cato's on Byrd Parkway on March 1.

On February 10, Roth was arrested and charged with three counts of commercial burglary in connection with break-ins one day earlier at El Mariachi, Tropical Glamour and New China Buffet.  Roth's bond for those charges had been set at $15,000.

Detectives say Roth will most likely make his first appearance in court on the new charges on Monday.  He is currently in the Forrest County Regional Jail.
