Hattiesburg robbery caught on tape...police make an arrest

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

UPDATE: Late Wednesday night, Hattiesburg Police arrested two juveniles they believe are connected to this case.

The Hattiesburg police department needs your help catching two armed robbers.

Sunday February 19th, two black males armed with a shotgun robbed bad boys convenience store on the 1000 block of Main street. The robbery occurred around 7:00pm.     With inclement weather expected Sunday, the University of Southern Mississippi will wrap up its Conference USA baseball series with Middle Tennessee State University with a Saturday doubleheader at Pete Taylor Park. The first game will start at 1:30 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than the originally-scheduled 2 p.m. start. The second game will begin about 45 minutes at the conclusion of the opener.

    The Mississippi Department of Corrections has locked down all prisons in its system for the weekend.  MDOC announced the weekend lockdown on Twitter on Friday, saying that there would be no visitation, commissary or outside recreation this weekend.
