Pine Belt Realtors say now is the time to purchase a home

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

Bankers around America are saying now is the perfect time to purchase a home because interest rates are low.

Laurel realtor, Chris Wilson, says the housing market is pretty slow. However, Wilson believes with more jobs coming to the Pine Belt, the housing market should soon pick up.

"More people means more demand," Wilson says. "We are talking about if most folks already have a job and now you are getting new jobs to be created, you are going to have an influx of people."

So if you desire a home, one brand new, in foreclosure, or you are a first time buyer, now is the perfect time for you to purchase a home.
