Laurel High School Choir lacks funds to reach Carnegie Hall

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - Students in the Laurel High School Choir are preparing for a big opportunity in New York City, but they're currently a little short of their fundraising goal.

The choir has been invited to perform in the Manhattan Concert Production, this March, at the legendary Carnegie Hall. Laurel Choir Director, Leander Bridges, says they need to raise nearly $60,000, and are about $5,000 shy of their goal.
