The idea is not exactly new. But the website called Pinterest has become one of the fastest-growing sites on the internet!
Basically, Pinterest lets you create and share collections of stuff you like in any category you choose.
Think of it as a virtual pin board.
Recipes, crafts, tiling---anything you want to learn how to do, Pinterest has it.
"I've made dishwashing detergent; it's a lot cheaper than Cascade," says Pinterest member Nikki Dean.
Nikki dean spends all of her free time on Pinterest. She says it brings out her creativity.
"This gave me something fun to do, instead of like, Facebook you sit all day and read things, this got me going," says Dean.
And Jessica McCoy uses the website as a building block.
"I'm a creative person, but I have the problem of finding the idea to get started, so for me it's a good way to find that idea and then get me going on it," she explained.
It's a virtual pin board where you can keep track of all your ideas.
Simply put, Pinterest is just a database of pictures. You don't have to go through a series of websites. After you see a picture of the craft, recipe or project that you like, you can create your very own.
The only complaint so far: It's so addicting that you can't stop once you start.
With millions of new pins added every week, Pinterest is always full of new ideas to add to your creativity and interests.
