Forrest General Hospital shows off new robotic arm

A new robotic arm system at Forrest General Hospital will offer a new treatment option for osteoarthritis.

FGH physicians introduced "RIO" Friday at Forrest General. The new treatment option will increase osteoarthritis patients' chances of returning to an active lifestyle.

The Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System is a device designed to assist surgeons during knee resurfacing operations. It features a robotic arm system and three-dimensional modeling.
