Three Greene County High School students were killed, and two other students were injured Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle accident.

Codi Henderson,15, Dillion Craig Reed,16, and Stephan Brent Nicholson,15, were pronounced dead at the scene.

State troopers said five males were all in a single truck when the driver apparently ran off the road. The accident occurred about 8:30 a.m. on Brushy Creek Road, about five miles south of Leakesville. The driver lost control of the vehicle coming out of a curve and the vehicle left the road and struck an embankment.

All five occupants were ejected from the vehicle. The two injured students, Joesph Lister,17, and Russell Green,17, were airlifted to the hospital. One to the University of South Alabama Hospital in Mobile, the other to Forrest General Hospital.
