Hattiesburg man charged with Petal armed robbery

PETAL, MS (WDAM) -

A Hattiesburg man is behind bars and Petal police are searching for another in connection with a Friday night robbery at the Fast Mart in Petal.

Police say 20 year old Nicholas Bryant and an accomplice allegedly entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The two then fled the scene. The suspect's vehicle was later spotted at the Walgreens in Petal by police and towed. Later Bryant went to the police department to look for his car and was arrested.

Police continue to look for 20 year old Carlton Jackson of Hattiesburg in connection with the crime.
