JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Jones County residents might feel a sense of deja vu when it comes to the upcoming sheriff's race.
For the last three sheriff's elections Larry Dykes and Alex Hodge have faced off.
Both men have held the position as sheriff. Dykes was sheriff for eight years but was was defeated by Hodge in 2007. The position currently pays $78,000 a year.
Voters will decide who will hold the job as sheriff for the next four years on Tuesday.
