Hattiesburg dog gets prosthetic legs

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - One-hundred-and-thirty-pound Pistol is looking at a happier and healthy life thanks to help of human prosthetics.

Pistol the dog has a condition that weakens his tendons and was in desperate need of orthopedics.

Pistol's owners' Anne and Martin Jones purchased the prosthetics to ease his weakening tendons. This is a vary rare procedure, but All Animal Clinic doctors recommended that it could be done.

Pistol's prosthetics were applied this morning at All Animal Clinic.  All Animal Clinic vet., Dr. Kirk Frazier said, "I knew I had to do whatever I could for Pistol."
