Hattiesburg traffic stop nets 25 pounds of marijuana

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - On September 30 Hattiesburg police stopped three people from Indiana and discovered 25 pounds of marijuana in their vehicle.

An officer with the Interdiction Unit stopped a black GMC sport utility vehicle on Interstate 59 after seeing a passenger with a bag of marijuana. The officer said he could smell marijuana in the vehicle and then conducted a searched which resulted in the discovery of approximately 25 pounds of marijuana inside a bag in the back of the vehicle.

Keith Ivory, 26; Olivia Fradin, 26; and Camesha Monday, 29, were arrested, taken to the Forrest County Jail, and charged with possession of over a kilo. of marijuana with intent to deliver.
