USM Children's Center gets $2K donation

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The Children's Center for Communication and Development at Southern Miss has received a $2,000 donation from Hattiesburg's Heritage Vision Center.

For six years, the business has donated a portion of its profits from the month of July to the center.

Heritage Vision Center has given a total of about $35,000 to the center, which helps developmentally disabled children up to 5 years of age. 

The center was founded in 1976.
