"We're a strong nation that has risen from the ashes of a terrible tragedy and it's important that the world see us grieve, but also see us rise," said Don Odom, Dean of the Winters School of Music. "That the world recognize that we are a nation of freedom and even if we disagree with each other, the way we solve our disagreements is peaceful and we hope the rest of the world will adopt that way of resolving conflict."
The Celebration of Freedom was put on the University's Winters School of Music.
