"Eleanor" Pet of the Week for 9-9-11

HATTIEBURG, MS (WDAM) - If all that is missing in your life is a sweet furry bundle of  love, Dorothy Ricks says that Eleanor, a two month old calico kitten might be just the ticket.

Eleanor was found abandoned outside the Southern Pines Animal Shelter and has been in foster care since. Her foster family says she loves to play and is very calm.

Cost for her adoption is $75. This includes her spay surgery, a micro chip for permanent identification. She has been tested for intestinal worms and will be checked for feline leukemia. With her adoption you also get one free month of pet insurance.

The shelter is located on North 31st Avenue. They are open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For adoption information call 601-544-6632.
