Hattiesburg home invasion thwarted by police

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - An attempted home invasion was thwarted by police at a residence near the intersection of Lincoln Rd and Hillendale Tuesday.

Police responded quickly to the call and chased Tobias Abner, 18, on foot who was then apprehended.

Abner is being held in the Forrest County Jail, charged with attempted residential burglary, other charges are pending at this time.
