Jeep tour raises funds for USO

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A vintage, Korean War-era U.S. Army Jeep is making its way across the southeast, raising money to help our troops.

A fully-refurbished 1952 Willys CJ-3 Jeep stopped in Hattiesburg at several Kangaroo Express stores Tuesday as part of the tour.

So far, the Jeep has traveled about 5,000 miles since May and has raised more than $1 million for the USO, the Wounded Warrior Project and state-based military support organizations.
