BROOKLYN, MS (WDAM) - The driver of a tractor trailer that crashed on Highway 49 Tuesday morning has been with driving under the influence.
Sixty Five year old Clyde Johnson of Hattiesburg was taken custody by state troopers and he was released from the Forrest County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 49 South near Brooklyn. Johnson apparently lost control of the semi and crashed into a guard rail.
Johnson was charged with DUI under the commercial driver's license law which lowers the legal blood alcohol content limit to .04
