MDOT warns candidates...no signs in the state right-of-way

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -The Mississippi Department of Transportation is warning candidates running in the 2011 election to be aware where they are placing signs.

MDOT officials said it is important for those campaigning not to place signs of any kind on the right-of-way of state maintained highways.

MDOT officials say all signs placed within the right-of-way of state highways will be removed.
