MADISON, Miss. (AP) - Authorities continue to search the Ross Barnett Reservoir near Madison for a missing swimmer. Police say 53-year-old Greg Kassel of Madison was last seen about 10:30 Tuesday night between Madison Landing and the dam.

NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - The former administrator of Adams County's Juvenile Justice Center has been arrested on charges of embezzling payments meant for the county.

Sheriff's deputies say 48-year-old Charles Kevin Nations was booked into the Adams County jail yesterday on a charge of embezzlement of property held in trust.

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A classic car stolen from a Jackson gas station has been found, but it's no longer in mint condition. The owner of the 1968 Ford Galaxie 500, Danny Tyner, says the Jackson Police Department recovered the car Monday. He says it has damage to the body, has been stripped and the engine and transmission were removed.

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (AP) - For a half-hour or so, Republican Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi will be in the same place and talk to the same crowd as Democratic rival Travis Childers. And today's event might just be the only time during this year's campaign that'll happen.
