ENID,OKLAHOMA (WDAM)– The magical run of the 2011 Jones County Junior College Bobcat baseball season came to a heartbreaking end here Saturday night at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
The fifth-ranked Western Oklahoma State College Pioneers beat the sixth-ranked Bobcats, 11-1, in the championship game of the NJCAA Division II World Series.
Western Oklahoma, the nation's leading hitting and home run team, had 13 base hits and three home runs on the night.
JCJC ends the best season in school history at 46-17.
Western Oklahoma ends the year at 50-17.
