Lamar teen struck by delivery truck

LAMAR CO., MS (WDAM)-A Lamar County teen was hit by a delivery truck Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 3:00 o'clock on Sandy Run road and Lois Lane.  Lamar county officials say, the boy was riding his bike when he was struck by a delivery truck.

Witnesses say, the child was alert and seemed to be okay after the accident..his only concern was getting in trouble by his parents. The teen was transported to Forrest General Hospital with a broken leg. Officials say the driver isn't being charged.
