Assistant District Attorney is fed up with criminals being released early

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Jones County Assistant District Attorney J. Ronald Parrish said he is fed up with criminals not serving a full sentence after being convicted of major crimes.

Parrish says enough is enough. He says there is no way a person should be out on earned- released supervision after serving just 8 years of two 20-year sentences.

Parrish said many of the criminal laws have been on the books since the 1800's and citizens need to call on their elected officials to change the injustice that's taking place in Mississippi because of old laws.
