PETAL, MS (WDAM) - Students from the 3rd and 4th grade at the 3-D School in Petal had an opportunity to showcase their final projects at the school's 2nd Annual Reading Fair Thursday.
The 3-D School stands for Dynamic Dyslexia Design. The school offers students with dyslexia a two year program to get help with their reading, writing, and spelling.
For the past nine weeks the students have been working on their final projects with the goal being to showcase all their accomplishments.
"Today they take all the reading, writing, and spelling skills, in addition to the gifts they come to us with," said Pam Shows, 4th grade teacher. "We get artistic ability, their ability to showcase things in a 3-D manner, and also to showcase their oral communication they have been working on for the past two years."
Graduation for the students at the 3-D school is set for Tuesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Petal Cultural Arts building.
