South Central Regional Medical Center breaks ground on new nursing home

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - South Central Regional Medical Center had a ground breaking ceremony for a new nursing home on Tuesday.  

The new nursing home will be 44,000 square feet and is expected to be complete this coming fall. The estimated cost of the new nursing home is $10 million.

There are 104 residents currently residing at the Jones County Rest Home.
