Authorities search for grand larceny suspect

COVINGTON COUNTY (WDAM) - Law enforcement officials in Forrest and Covington Counties need your help in finding an auto grand larceny suspect.

Take a good look at these convenience store surveillance images. Authorities have not been able to name the suspect seen in the blue shirt. Authorities say he is between age 40 to 50, has black or dark brown hair and a salt and pepper goatee.

If you know the whereabouts of this suspect, please call the Covington County Sheriff's Department at 601-765-8281, Pine Belt CrimeStoppers at 601-792-STOP or Metro CrimeStoppers at 601-582-STOP.

    The mother of Larry Keith Phillips spoke out about the guilty verdict in the murder of her 45-year-old son.   Phillips was murdered in 2016 after being hit by a car driven by Melissa Dawn Cruz.
