Richton woman charged with aggravated assault

RUNNELSTOWN, MS (WDAM)- A Richton woman is behind bars in Perry County and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Thirty year old Zoe Robins was arrested Saturday night at the B & B Grocery Store on Highway 42 East in Runnelstown.

Perry County Sheriff Jimmy Dale Smith says Robins was involved in an argument with another woman inside a vehicle, pulled a knife, and cut the woman on both arms.

The woman's injuries were not serious. She was treated at the hospital and released.
