PETAL, MS (WDAM) - Employees of one Petal retailer were "cooking up" new ways to help children's hospitals.

The employees of the Petal Walmart served up plates of sausage dogs and ribs for a Friday fundraiser, called, "Grillin' for a Healin'."

It was done to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network and the Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson.

Employees hoped to raise $2,000 during the event.
