"Amanda" Pet of the Week for 4-22-11

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A five week old beautiful mix breed collie named Amanda is the Southern Pines Animal Shelter Pet of the Week.

Amanda was picked up by someone after she lost her way and was taken to the shelter. Her owners never went to the shelter to look for her.

She is extremely friendly, energetic, and playful and should make a great family pet. Your 're surely find he to be one of the most healthy and happy 5 year old dogs you've met and will want to bring her home.

Amanda's adoption fee is $75. She has already had her spay surgery. She is current on all her shots and has been checked for heart worms. She also has a micro chip installed for permanent identification in case she gets lost again.

Southern Pines Animal Shelter is located on North 31st Avenue in Hattiesburg. They are open 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

For adoption information call 601-544-6632.
