USM housing to get a facelift

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - University of Southern Mississippi fraternity members and alumni are in talks to give housing a facelift.

Gary Kimble, Director of Office of Conference and Fraternity Housing Operations, says a committee has been put together to discuss funding and plans for renovations for houses on fraternity row in the next few years.

Such renovations will entail better accommodations for bigger fraternities that are in smaller houses, and the plan is in place to try to attract new members to help bump up recruitment.
