JCJC expanding Dual Enrollment LPN program

ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

A program at Jones County Junior College which gives high school students a jump start on a nursing career is growing. The Dual Enrollment LPN Program which currently serves students in just a few area counties is expanding next fall to include qualified students from all 8 counties in JCJC's district.

The program, funded by a state grant, allows some high school students to complete the first semester of the Practical Nursing Program during their senior year.

JCJC will host an informational meeting about the program on Monday, May 9th at 6 p.m. in the Home and Health Auditorium.
