Hattiesburg Salvation Army receives generous gift from His Way

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The Boys and Girls Club has received a generous gift from His Way Inc. of Mississippi.

Tuesday morning a ribbon cutting was held to unveil a brand new playground. The new playground has two tire swings, five slides, six swings, a climbing wall, an educational area, and an outlining fence.

His Way Inc. is a Ridgeland based organization that supports agencies who work with underprivileged and at risk children.

"The Boys and Girls Club is truly a positive place for children to be and the impact they have on the lives of children here in Mississippi is just not measurable," said Ann Neal Moore, Executive Director of His Way Inc. "We felt we needed a beautiful place to come to play where it is safe and attractive and we're just so happy to be a part of this project."

The Boys and Girls Club offers a structured, safe, and recreational after school and summer program for more than 150 children in the Hattiesburg area.
