JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - A tradition lives on at Rock 104. Sunday RockTrax with Doug Morris celebrated 15 years on the air.
The popular show has been a staple at the radio station since 1996. It airs Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and can be heard throughout the Pine Belt.
Rock Trax is only a part time gig for Doug. During the week he works at WDAM where he produces both the midday and 5:00 P.M. newscasts.
Doug says not much has changed on the show in the 15 years has been doing it and that's just way he likes it.
"We just keep it to the basic stuff," said Morris. "We just lock back at the weeks headlines in our news notes section. We also have our light side section which always lightens things up a bit. And even our bonehead du jour segment. It's always a bigger laugh when we spotlight dumb criminals and such. That's the way its been for fifteen years and I've always enjoyed it."
Doug added that he is looking forward to hosting RockTrax for many more years, calling the first 15 fantastic.
