Pine Belt nuclear engineer not concerned about radiation threat to the U.S.

ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) - A nuclear engineer returned to his alma mater to discuss the radiation issue in Japan.

Jones County Junior College graduate Alex Howard, who has worked at a nuclear power plant in the past now works as an engineer for the South Mississippi Power Association.  Howard said the radiation from the nuclear crisis in Japan is being handled properly by Japanese workers and does not pose any harm to residents in the United States.
