Man electrocuted at the Hattiesburg/Laurel canceled

JONES CO., (WDAM)- Jones County officials say a man was electrocuted working on runway lights at the Pine Belt Regional Airport in Jones County.

Jones County Sheriff's Department Investigators responded to the incident around 3 p.m. Monday.  The victim is Zachary Taylor, 22, of Quitman.  Authorities, say Taylor was employed by a private electrical contractor.

Due to the runway lighting system at the airport not working properly, the 6 a.m. flight departing Tuesday has been canceled.
