HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A two year old male mix breed spitz named Tank is the Southern Pines Animal Shelter Pet of the Week.
Tanks is about 22 pounds. He's a long haired dog, but doesn't shed to bad. He's also very friendly and playful and has lots of energy.
His family had to move and they couldn't take him with them so they brought him to the shelter hoping they could find him a good home.
His adoption fee is $70. That includes his neuter surgery which has been done. He's been worm tested, is current on all his shots, and has been micro chipped for permanent identification.
The shelter is currently still closed for adoptions and drop offs, but they hope to open in the near future.
For information on how to adopt Tank or any other animal contact the shelter at 601-544-6632.
