HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - An eleven week old male gray and white tabby kitten named Poof is the Pet of the Week from Southern Pines Animal Shelter.
Poof is currently in foster care. He is extremely friendly and playful. He gets along great with children and other pets to include dogs.
Cost for his adoption is $75. He has already been neutered and worm checked. He has his first shots and has a micro chip installed for permanent identification.
You can check Poof out at Pet Smart in Hattiesburg beginning Thursday to see if he would be a good fit for your family.
Southern Pines Animal Shelter is always looking for foster families to care for pets while they are waiting to be adopted. Contact the shelter at 601-544-6632 for more information.
A reminder the shelter remains closed for adoptions and drop offs because of a recent problem with distemper in some of the dogs. It will remain closed for at least another one to two weeks.
All animals currently featured on Pet of the Week have not been at the shelter but in foster care.
