WIGGINS, MS (WDAM) - Authorities arrested Tuesday seven people in connection with the January 7 death of a Wiggins man.
Investigators said Jeremy Quesinberry, 30, died from an overdose of prescription drugs.
Wiggins Police Department Investigator Tom Roan said those arrested were part of an illegal prescription drug ring.
Roan said police arrested seven suspects who are now in jail in addition to three minors who are now in the care of the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
Of the seven arrested were Jessica Pierce, Anna Scruggs and her brother James Scruggs, said Roan. Police charged them with manslaughter. They remain in in Stone County jail on $100,000 bond.
