MARION COUNTY, MS (WDAM) - Bond has been set at $1 million for a man accused of murder.  28-year-old Carlos Holloway made his initial court appearance Thursday in Columbia. Holloway had been on the run for nearly a week before he was apprehended by U.S. Marshals and other agencies on Christmas Eve in Blue Springs, Missouri.

Holloway is charged with murder in connection with shootings that occurred at a car wash in the Lampton community last month. Holloway allegedly shot two men that were sitting in their car. Eldrick Bolden was killed in the shooting and the other victim was wounded.

Authorities say after the shooting Holloway fled with 33-year-old Felicia Jefferson, who reportedly rented a car and drove to  Blue Springs, Missouri.

Jefferson also made her initial appearance in court today and was charged with hindering prosecution, rendering criminal assistance. Her bond was set at $100,000.
