Fraternity delivers holiday meals to needy

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - A Hattiesburg fraternity is reaching out to the needy, elderly and homebound this Christmas. Friday, members of the Phi Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity handed out or delivered several Christmas meals to folks who would not otherwise have one.

Each box of food contained a ham, dressing, vegetables and other items. The meal boxes were bought from Corner Market.

The fraternity helped about a dozen families this year in the annual program.
