Veterans and residents in Palmers Crossing receive a warm Christmas breakfast

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Veterans and residents in Palmers Crossing in Hattiesburg received a warm Christmas breakfast in honor of a community pioneer Thursday.

The family of John "Stone" Clark hosted the second annual "Stone Clark "Christmas Tiding" at the Palmers Crossing Community Center.

Participants enjoyed a hardy breakfast that included grits, pancakes, eggs, sausage, toast and juice.

His family said because he loved and honored veterans its a tradition they'll continue to observe.
