HATTIESBURG, MS-  Clear Channel Radio is helping a lot of kids have a very Merry Christmas.

With the help of donations from its listeners of stations like  SL 100 , Clear Channel Radio's 7th Annual Stuff a Bus promotion received over 1,000 toy donations.

The donations will be divided and pickup by the local DHS, Petal's Children's Task Force and others. SL 100's  Don King says these toys will be give to kids right here in south Mississippi.

"We truly had the best week ever, which despite this economy is pretty amazing. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who donated. We truly appreciate it and I know some families right here in the pine belt will too," said King.

Petal's Children Task Force was the first organization to pick up their donations.
