"Rudolf" Pet of the Week for 12-08-10

By Jeff Daley jdaley@wdam.com

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The first Christmas Pet of the Week from Southern Pines Animal Shelter is appropriately named Rudolf or Rudy for short.

Rudy is a young male mix breed terrier that is sure to make a great addition to your holiday and family. He has a great temperament, is very sweet, and should be great with other pets and children.

He was found wandering and brought to the shelter. Shelter life has left him a little nervous and he would really love a new forever home for the holiday season.

Rudy's adoption fee is $70. He has already been neutered, his shots are current, he has been worm tested and micro chipped for permanent identification.

The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 6, Tuesday from 10 to 3, and Saturday from 10 to 2. For more information call 601-544-6632.

A reminder, the shelter is open only from 10 to 2 on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas day.
