HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - The Pet of the Week from Southern Pines Animal Shelter is a mixed breed Terrier name Amethist.
Amethist is an older dog, but her actual age is not known. She was dropped of at the shelter because her owners could no longer afford to care for her.
She is very friendly, loves attention, and has a great temperament. She is sure to make a great family pet.
Cost for her adoption is $70. She has already been spayed, has her first shots, been worm tested, and has been micro chipped for permanent identification.
Southern Pines Animal Shelter is located on North 31st Avenue right behind Antonelli College. Hours of operation are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
