LAUREL, MS (WDAM) - Laurel's Good Samaritan Soup Kitchen served up a holiday meal for hundreds of needy folks today.
About 300 people enjoyed an annual Thanksgiving feast of turkey and the trimmings.
Volunteers including mayor Melvin Mack helped cook and serve the food and they seemed to get just as much out of the experience...as the diners did.
The kitchen serves meals on weekdays, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
