FCAHS student to march in Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

Brooklyn, Ms (WDAM) -  Jack Bounds, a percussionist for the Forrest County Agricultural High School Aggie Pride Band Is heading to New York City to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

Bounds will join students from every state as a member of the 2010 Macy's Great American Marching Band. He competed against students from 14,000 high schools across the country and was selected on his musical ability and past achievements.

He will be a member of the drum line when he marches in the 83rd annual Macy's Parade Thursday, November 25th.

"I feel like there are many things still ahead of me. So I don't want this to be the be all and do all," said Bounds. "I want to continue to go further."

While in New York Bounds will have the opportunity to take part in leadership and educational workshops.
