HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Dozens of South Mississippians gathered in Hattiesburg today to help fight Alzheimer's Disease. More than 300 people took part in the 2nd annual, "Memory Walk" at the Forrest County Multi-Purpose Center.
The event raised about $2,500 for the Mississippi Alzheimer's Association. That organization helps the 53,000 Mississippians living with the disease.
There are 8 other "Memory Walks" scheduled around Mississippi this year.
